"Roll-The-Can" Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 c. milk
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. diced fruit (optional)
    1 bag rock salt
    1 bag crushed ice
Preparation
    You will also need 1 (1-pound) can with lid and 1 (3-pound) can with lid.
