No-Cholesterol Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. NutraSweet
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 c. applesauce
    3 egg whites
    2/3 c. white flour
    2/3 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. oat bran
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 c. shredded pears
Preparation
    Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with Pam.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine sugars, applesauce and egg whites.
    Beat with a wooden spoon until well blended. Add flours, oat bran, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Stir until moistened. Stir in shredded pears.
    Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    You may add 1 cup chopped nuts, if preferred, before cooking.
