Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, butter, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together and stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Roll into balls.
    Roll in mixture of 3 tablespoons sugar and 3 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
