Light Brownies (Caramel) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. oleo, melted
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts or 1/2 pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 pkg. dates
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Grease and flour a large flat pan.
    Bake for 40 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Cut while hot.
