Sour Cream Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. oleo
4 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
6 beaten eggs
7 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. soda
3 c. sour cream
nuts or dates

Preparation

Mix shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs and beat.
Now add dry ingredients.
Add sour cream, stirring smooth after each addition.
Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet.
Bake in hot 400\u00b0 oven until done.
When cool, spread with icing.
