Festive Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (15 to 16 oz. each) Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
    1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
    2 c. peeled, seeded and chopped tomatoes
    1 diced sweet red pepper
    1 diced sweet yellow pepper
    3/4 c. thinly sliced green onions
    1/2 to 3/4 c. mild salsa
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro or fresh basil
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Combine beans and tomatoes in a large bowl.
    Add peppers and sliced green onions.
    Stir gently to combine.
    Set aside.
    Combine salsa, vinegar, cilantro or basil and pepper in a small bowl. Stir with a wire whisk until well blended.
    Pour over bean mixture and toss gently.
    Chill 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
    Serves 10 to 12.
