Medivnyk(Honey Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. honey
3/4 c. vegetable oil
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cooled black coffee
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. rum

Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar, honey and oil.
Mix well.
Slowly add flour, coffee, baking soda, baking powder, cloves and rum.
Beat well.
Blend in chopped nuts with spoon or spatula.
Pour mixture into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Place in preheated oven and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
