Almond-Crusted Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sliced almonds
1 (16 oz.) pkg. golden pound cake mix
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Generously grease loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
Sprinkle 1/2 cup almonds over bottom and 2/3 up sides, pressing if necessary.
