Frozen Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. hot water
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
    5 large bananas
    juice of 2 lemons
    2 quarts of ginger ale
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in hot water in bowl; cool.
    Add pineapple juice and orange juice.
    Mash bananas in bowl.
    Add lemon juice. Combine with juices; mix well.
    Pour into freezer container. Freeze until firm.
    Remove 3 to 4 hours before serving.
    Mash until slushy.
    Combine with ginger ale in large punch bowl; mix gently.
    Makes 50 servings.
