Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 pkg. granulated yeast
    1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water (lukewarm)
    1 egg
    7 c. sifted flour
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Scald milk over hot water in top of double boiler or over very low heat.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add yeast, sugar, water and egg; beat until blended.
    Add half of the flour, butter and salt; stir until blended.
    Add remaining flour, stirring until blended.
