Buttermilk Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Karo
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook in large vessel, stirring constantly.
    Cook to a soft ball.
    Take off and add vanilla.
    Whip until creamy and add pecans at once.
    Pour into buttered pan and, when cool, cut into pieces.
