Red Ketchup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 gal. tomato juice
2 onions, shredded
1/2 tsp. allspice
7 Tbsp. salt
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
8 c. sugar
approximately 18 Tbsp. clear-jell
Preparation

Stir all ingredients, except sugar and clear-jel, together in large kettle.
Boil down for 1 1/2 to 3 hours, then add the sugar. Mix the clear-jel with cold water; add to thicken.
