Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. scalded milk
3 c. cubed dry bread
2/3 c. raisins
1 apple, finely diced
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Lightly butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Blend eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and spices.
While stirring, add milk slowly.
Add bread and fruit and mix well.
Pour into baking dish and dot with butter.
Place dish in pan of hot water and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Serve warm.
