Spicy Chicken Pita - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 c. teriyaki sauce
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 chopped onion
1/3 c. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. horseradish
4 to 6 pita bread
lettuce and tomato (optional)
Preparation

Cut chicken in small strips and marinate in teriyaki sauce 30 minutes or more.
Combine thyme and next 4 ingredients in small bowl.
Heat olive oil and saute onion in large skillet.
Add chicken and stir-fry over medium/hot heat.
Sprinkle spices over chicken and cook until done.
(May use 1/2 of the spice mixture for less peppery taste).
Combine mayonnaise and horseradish; spread in pita.
Add chicken and lettuce.
Good, easy and spicy!
