Corn Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    1/2 small onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    1/3 c. canned milk
    1/3 c. water
    1 egg
    2 c. whole kernel corn
    1/2 c. bread crumbs, mixed with 2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Saute onion
    and
    green pepper in butter for 5 minutes. Add flour,
    seasonings\tand milk; stir constantly until smooth and thick.
    Combine
    this
    mixture
    with
    corn and beaten egg. Put mixture into shallow casserole.
    Cover with buttered bread crumbs; brown in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
