Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large apples, thinly sliced
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Core, peel and slice 4 large apples.
    Mix together sugar and eggs.
    Add oil and beat 1 minute.
    Sift together soda, salt and baking powder, cinnamon and flour.
    Fold dry ingredients into liquid.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Lastly, fold in apples.
    Put into a 13 x 9-inch pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Top with whipped cream and nuts when cool.
