Corn Relish 1933 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 ears corn
    1 head cabbage
    1 head celery
    6 medium onions
    3 red peppers (bell)
    3 green peppers (if you like)
    3 pt. cider vinegar
    2 lb. white sugar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut corn from cob.
    Chop cabbage, onions, peppers and celery fine.
    Mix all ingredients and bring to a full, rolling boil. Boil for 20 minutes.
    Seal in hot jars.
    Invert jars until cool.
