Easy Good Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    2-1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 c. butter or Crisco at room temperature
    1-1/2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
    pinch of salt
    food coloring if desired
Preparation
    Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.
    Slowly add the powdered sugar, beat well.
    Add the 1/4 c. butter or Crisco and mix well. Add flavoring, salt and food coloring, mix.
    Spread on a completely cooled cake.
    This frosting freezes well.
