Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    1 1/2 c. coarse cracker crumbs
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. oyster liquor
    1 c. milk
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Butter 1 1/2 quart casserole.
    Sprinkle
    bottom
    with a layer of cracker crumbs, then a
    layer
    of oysters.
    Add salt, pepper and butter.
    Arrange in alternate layers with top layer being crackers.
    Pour over the
    oyster
    liquor and milk.\tBake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
