Sour Milk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. sour milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, salt and egg.
Alternate sour milk with dry ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until light golden brown on top and toothpick comes out clean.
This cake is good with powdered sugar on top, or a Lazy Daisy topping, or any frosting.
