Fresh Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 heads fresh broccoli
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped pecans
1 small red onion, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1/4 c. grated carrots
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Chop broccoli into small pieces and mix with raisins, pecans, onions, water chestnuts and carrots.
Mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar to make a dressing.
Pour over the broccoli mixture and toss well.
Top with crumbled bacon.
Refrigerate and marinate several hours before serving.
