German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
    1 medium onion, chopped
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until tender.
    Drain well.
    Combine remaining ingredients except eggs in a saucepan.
    Cook 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Pour vinegar mixture over potatoes.
    Add eggs and toss.
    Serve immediately.
    Yields 6 servings.
