Mile High Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. cold water
5 egg whites, at room temperature
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Combine
2 tablespoons sugar, cornstarch and cold water in saucepan.
Stir
until cornstarch dissolves.
Cook mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat when mixture is thick and clear.
Cool.
