Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 large can crushed pineapple, not drained
    2 pt. frozen strawberries, not drained
    2 large boxes vanilla pudding (or 4 small boxes French vanilla)
    6 to 8 c. milk (based on size pudding)
    2 medium Cool Whip (I use Harris Teeter)
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions and cut in half.
