Winter Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. thinly shredded cabbage
1/2 c. finely shredded carrot
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
1/4 c. salad oil
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, onion and green pepper.
In a small pan, combine oil, vinegar, sugar, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper.
Bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, continue boiling for 2 minutes. Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture and mix lightly.
Serve immediately.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
