Vegetable Pita Pocket Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 pita pocket bread (whole wheat)
    1 1/2 c. French-cut green beans, cooked and drained
    1 1/2 c. bean sprouts
    4 c. shredded, low-fat Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. mushroom stems and pieces
    3/4 c. slivered almonds, browned
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Cut pita bread in half and fill with 1 cup of filling.
    Heat for about 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven. Serve at once.
