Pear Honey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. ground pears
5 lb. sugar
1 large can and 1 small can crushed pineapple
Preparation

Mix together.
Bring to boil slowly on medium or medium-low heat.
Boil for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally to make sure it doesn't scorch.
Test for doneness by placing a spoonful on a saucer, placing in freezer, about 3 minutes.
If it's like jelly, it's done.
Put in hot jars and seal.
Great on oatmeal muffins.
