Krautburgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

frozen bread or rolls, hot roll mix or your favorite bread dough
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion
1 head cabbage, sliced fine or shredded
Preparation

Brown hamburger and drain; add cabbage and onion and cook until soft, stirring often so it doesn't scorch.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Roll dough thin and cut into 4 or 4 1/2-inch squares.
On these squares, put a heaping teaspoonful of filling and bring up 4 corners; tightly pinch edges.
Place on greased cookie sheet with pinched side down.
Let raise again on cookie sheet and bake at 425\u00b0 the first 10 minutes, then decrease heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 20 more minutes.
Serve hot with salad and plenty of hot coffee.
They will be crisp, but cover with a towel after you have removed them from the cookie sheet.
