Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium leeks, chopped
    1/3 c. onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    8 c. chicken stock
    5 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 to 3/4 c. heavy whipping cream
Preparation
    Saute leeks and onion in butter; add flour and mix well.
    Add chicken broth to potatoes with onion mixture.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Cook until potatoes are done, about 8 minutes.
    Add whipping cream and heat through.
