Lemon-Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 1/4 c. cake flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk (1/2 milk and 1/2 evaporated)
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    8 egg whites
Preparation
    Cream
    the
    butter
    and
    sugar really good; sift flour, salt and
    baking
    powder together 3 times.
    Add flour and milk alternately,
    beating
    good

    Add flavorings. Beat egg whites until fluffy and fold in cake mixture.
    Grease three 9
    1/2-inch
    cake
    pans and line bottoms with wax paper. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
