Chocolate Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo, melted
    1 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Cool Whip
    1 (3 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding
    1 (3 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
    3 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    8 to 10 maraschino cherries, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved.
    Continue to cook without stirring, until candy thermometer reaches 260\u00b0 or until a little dropped into very cold water forms a hard ball.
