Chess Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg whites, beaten
2 sticks butter, melted and cooled
1 box brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
4 egg yolks
2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Beat egg
whites
and
set aside.
Cream butter, sugars and egg
yolks.
Sift
flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to the creamed mixture.
Add vanilla.\tFold in beaten egg whites.
