Fresh Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 medium size Granny Smith apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
5 Tbsp. flour
1/2 stick butter
Preparation

Peel and slice apples thin.
Arrange in bottom of deep-dish pie crust.
Mix dry ingredients and spread dry mixture over top of apples.
Cut butter in small pieces and place over pie filling. Put top crust on pie and pierce with fork so steam can escape. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until golden brown and apples are tender.
