Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large eggs
1 c. white corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. orange juice
2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
1 unbaked pie shell
whipped cream (optional)
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add syrup, sugar, juice and rind.
Stir in butter.
Spread pecans over unbaked pie crust and pour filling over.
Bake approximately 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serve topped with whipped cream, if desired.
Yields one 8 or 9-inch pie.
