Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift the dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
    Add grated cheese.
    Add milk, enough to make a soft dough.
    Put on a floured board and knead 1/2 minute.
    Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake in hot oven (450\u00b0) for 12 to 15 minutes.
