Cheesy Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can pink salmon
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    3 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Flake salmon with a fork.
    Add milk, flour, egg and cheese, stirring well.
    Shape mixture into 6 patties.
    Heat oil in heavy skillet.
    Cook patties in oil over medium heat for 8 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.
