Peanut Butter Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. peanut butter
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Cream shortening until light.
    Add sugar slowly, gradually beating after each addition. Add brown sugar and blend peanut butter in well.
    Add well beaten eggs.
    Add dry ingredients a little at a time beating until smooth after each addition.
    Form into two rolls.
    Wrap in wax paper.
    Let stand in refrigerator several hours.
    Slice thin and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
