Southern Baked Squash(Small Yellow Squash) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium yellow squash (about 2 or 2 1/2 lb.), cooked and mashed
    1 c. buttery cracker crumbs (about 24 round crackers)
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix squash, 3/4 cup crumbs, 6 tablespoons oleo, onion, egg, salt and pepper.
    Turn into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Dot with remaining oleo and crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
