Macaroni And Broccoli - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 bunch broccoli
1 lb. pasta (short or linguini)
1/2 to 3/4 c. olive oil
3/4 c. basil leaves (fresh), chopped
salt and pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic
3/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Preparation

Cut and peel broccoli stems.
Cut 1-inch pieces.
Blanch a few minutes before flowerets.
If flowerets are large, cut smaller. Chop garlic.
Saute in oil until golden.
Cook pasta.
Drain and place in bowl.
Top with garlic, oil, basil leaves and cheese.
Add broccoli.
Mix well.
Use Ronzoni ziti or fettuccini.
