Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
juice of 1 lemon
Preparation

In saucepan, mix first 3 ingredients.
Stir in water and cook, stirring until thickened.
Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
Serve hot on puddings or breads.
Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
