Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. dried basil
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a 5-quart Dutch oven, heat corn oil over medium heat.
    Add onion, garlic and parsley.
    Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
    Place tomatoes in blender and blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until chopped.
    Add to onion mixture.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes.
    Yield:
    6 cups.
