Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. powdered milk
1/3 c. soft shortening
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. nuts
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
1 c. mashed bananas
Preparation

Sift the flour, baking powder, soda and dry milk on a piece of paper or in mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix shortening, sugar and egg until light and fluffy.
Mix water, vinegar and bananas together.
Gradually add dry ingredients to egg mixture, alternately adding the banana mixture.
Quickly, but thoroughly, stir in nuts.
Put in greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until bread leaves side of pan.
