Never Fail Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1 plus tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk or buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 stick oleo
    3 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Heat oil in skillet or 8 or 9-inch pan. Also makes Texas-sized muffins.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Melt oleo, add milk and eggs.
    Add to dry mixture.
    Mix until blended. Pour into baking pan.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown on top.
    I start checking at 15 minutes.
    Is done when brown on top.
