Peanut Butter Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, separated
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 envelope gelatin
    1 c. milk
    2 c. Cool Whip
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 (10-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and add 1/4 cup sugar, gelatin, salt and milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter until blended.
    Cool. Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff.
    Fold into cooled peanut butter mixture.
    Add Cool Whip.
    Pour into pie shell and chill.
