Summer Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. new potatoes, cut in 1/2-inch cubes (6 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    3/4 c. sour cream
    3/4 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Pare potatoes.
    Cover with water.
    Add 1 teaspoon salt.
    Cook, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Drain.
    Cool and chill.
    Blend together mayonnaise, sour cream, celery and onion.
    Add bacon.
    Stir in salt and pepper.
    Gently fold in potatoes.
    Chill.
    Serves 6.
