Pecan Pie Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 stick margarine, melted
1-1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Put cake mix in a bowl; remove 2/3 cup and save for later. Add 1 egg and margarine.
Mix and pat into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
