Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 jar maraschino cherries
1 c. oleo
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cocoa

Preparation

Mix together the oleo and sugar.
In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients.
Add first mixture to second mixture.
Roll into balls and press 1 maraschino cherry into each cookie, then put 1 teaspoon of topping on top of cherry.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 8 minutes.
