Sophia Loren'S Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 or 2 cloves crushed garlic
    16 oz. can tomatoes or 1 lb. fresh, peeled and sieved
    1 Tbsp. minced, fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt to taste
    4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet; add garlic, then blend in other ingredients.
    Stir until blended.
    Lower heat and cook gently for 30 minutes, stirring every now and then.
    Put cooked spaghetti on a large platter; cover with sauce.
    Sprinkle with at least 4 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese.
