Short Ribs In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef short ribs
    8 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. parsley
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    6 onions (or less)
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 or more c. beer
Preparation
    Flour the beef and brown in half the butter.
    Add parsley, pepper, bay leaf, wine vinegar and beer.
    Simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours until beef is tender.
    In remaining butter, saute the sliced onions and add the sugar to glaze them.
    When done, add to beef and cook 15 minutes more.
