Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    1 egg
    2/3 c. mashed bananas
    5 Tbsp. sour milk
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening together; add egg and mix well. Sift together flour, soda and salt, then add to sugar mixture alternately with the sour milk.
    Add nuts last and stir just to mix, then pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
